Lanolin Alcohol D-AG is produced by alkaline hydrolysis of lanolin raw materials and the further refining that takes place. Lanolin Alcohol D-AG is therefore a very refined, non-saponifiable fraction of lanolin that consists of a complex of; lanosterol, agnosterol and di-hydro derivatives and aliphatic alcohol.
This lanolin product fully complies with the guidelines of the European Pharmacopoeia. It is generally recognized as safe and is included in pharmacopoeia monographs worldwide.
