Product information
EDTMP is a phosphonate which is the structural countertype of EDTA. It has a very good binding capacity for almost all transition metals and alkaline earth metals.
In addition to preventing settling of limestone, gypsum, iron oxides and other mineral deposits, this substance is also very suitable as a dispersant for ceramic slurries and cement-bound building materials.
The broad applicability to all kinds of ions makes this product a very suitable agent in oil-field chemistry.
The strong bond with iron ions also prevents the formation of corrosion.
The product is available as sodium-salt solution (CAS: 22036-77-7), potassium-salt solution (CAS: 34274-30-1) and as calcium/sodium-salt granules (CAS: 85480-89-3)
