TEOF is not only to be used as intermediate of medicine and pesticide, pipemidic acid, EMME, Amitraz, and so on. TEOF can also be used as intermediate of ntimalatial chloroquine and cyanine dye, photographic sensitivity agent, acrylic fibres, etc. TEOF is soluble in alcohol, has limited solubility in ether and decomposes in water.
