Product information
Cublen A is a phosphonate which is a structural countertype of NTA. It is a clear colorless to pale yellow liquid that is very good at binding calcium ions. This makes this substance very efficient in preventing lime-stone and gypsum precipitation in water treatment and cleaning agents.
In addition, it also forms a strong bond with iron ions, resulting in good corrosion inhibition.
The material is available as an acid (CAS: 6419-19-8) and as a sodium-salt solution (CAS: 20592-85-2)
